Sales Engineer (LA/Denver)

Drive revenue in the large broadcast markets by managing pre-sales technical processes, assisting with post-sales implementations, and acting as an expert on the Company's network video streaming and media delivery platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and explain products to decision-makers and technical staff.
• Design technical solutions for partners and customers.
• Provide pre-sales technical support.
• Assist with proof-of-concept engagements and post-sale support.
• Support sales managers with account and project management.
• Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive information.
• Build long-term relationships with resellers, integrators, and partners.
• Assist with setup and operation at training and trade shows.
• Travel up to 50% within North America.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software, IP video, encoding/decoding, bonded cellular, and/or advanced IP networking.
• Strong customer engagement skills.
• Interest in the broadcast media industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with good time management.
• Proven track record of building strong customer relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with senior executives and technical decision-makers.

Technical Competencies:

• Knowledge in IP Video Streaming, encoding/decoding, and bonded cellular data transmission.
• Experience with LAN/WAN network topologies, CDNs, and multicast network distribution.
• Understanding of video compression technologies and media transport protocols.
• Familiarity with audio/video delivery over terrestrial and satellite IP networks is a plus.
• Comfort with Linux command line and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript is a plus.
