Broadcast Systems Engineer

We’re working with a leading broadcast organisation to hire a Broadcast Systems Engineer to join a highly skilled technical support team.

This is an opportunity to work at the heart of live production, supporting critical broadcast infrastructure in a fast-paced environment that delivers breaking news and high-profile content.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues across studio and production systems, ensuring minimal disruption to live broadcasting operations.

Key areas include:

  • Supporting studio systems including cameras, audio, and vision equipment

  • Troubleshooting routing, signal, and control systems

  • Supporting IP-based broadcast environments (including IP 2110)

  • Maintaining and resolving issues within Avid and non-linear editing systems

  • Working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in broadcast or production engineering environments

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware and software

  • Experience supporting studio and/or post-production systems

  • Knowledge of broadcast workflows, signal routing

  • A hands-on engineer with a problem-solving mindset
