An international broadcast and media organisation based in London is looking to recruit a Desktop Engineer to join its UK based team.
As Desktop Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing 2nd line support to their infrastructure, covering the workstation and application environments. You will take ownership of incidents by handling 2nd line support enquiries as well as supporting and maintaining application packaging and deployment. You will work closely with the Lead Desktop Engineer to work on specific projects and tasks, keeping all documentation up to date and ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for applicants that have worked as a Desktop Engineer and can demonstrate an excellent understanding of workstation operating systems including both Microsoft and Apple. Good technical experience of Microsoft infrastructure applications including Active Directory, Group Policy and SCCM is also required as is knowledge of application packaging and deployment. An understanding and troubleshooting knowledge around Video Conferencing systems such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams is also important. Exposure to working in an ITIL environment is preferred as is experience of call logging systems. A good understanding of IT within a media / broadcast environment is extremely advantageous.
This is a Monday-Friday role but will involve working on a shift pattern.
