Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Broadcast Manager to join a market-leading sports production company based in London on a permanent basis.

As Technical Broadcast Manager, you will be responsible for the planning of high-profile sports events and will work with the Head of Broadcast on technical developments and project planning. Working in tandem with the production team and the company's suppliers, you will coordinate satellite capacity, network capacity, port allocations and on-site requirements for contribution and distribution. 

In this role, you will also be required to travel internationally to work at live events and therefore must be able to commit to staying away for a minimum of 10 days at a time. Whilst on site, you will assist the Broadcast team with servicing the production and transmission needs of rights holders and will provide broadcasters with up-to-date information including match schedules, running orders and satellite details

To be considered for this role, our client are looking for somebody with good knowledge in distribution and networks including satellite and IP. You must have very good communication skills to represent the business well as this role will entail a lot of client facing responsibilities. Any exposure to AWS Media Services is also highly advantageous.
