We have an excellent permanent job vacancy available for a hands-on Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join an award-winning global broadcast service provider & cloud technology vendor. This position will cover the EMEA region and can be based in either Paris, France or Berlin, Germany.
As a Pre-Sales Architect, you will work closely with the Sales team and support the full presales process, helping to drive revenue growth by designing cutting-edge technical and commercial solutions for customers. Clients will include top tier broadcasters, content owners, Pay TV platforms and OTT video streaming channels, along with live news and sports media organisations.
You will scope and gather clients' business requirements, architect tailored solutions to meet these needs and successfully “sell” the company’s technology products and their unique capabilities to the customer from a technical perspective.
As a product expert, you will devise and deliver pre-sales presentations and in-depth product demos to key stakeholders, demonstrate first-class technical and commercial knowledge and define and run proof of concept trials. Managing the bid and tender process, you will also construct compelling sales proposals and RFI / RFQ documentation.
You will build key relationships with the customer’s engineering and operations teams, monitor the progress of client discussions throughout the sales lifecycle to ensure deal closure and also work with the onboarding team to ensure the smooth transition from sales to delivery.
Post-sales, you will also act as a technical advisor for existing customer accounts, working with the customer support team to understand new technical and business requirements and resolving any technical issues with deployed solutions.
Candidates will have proven commercial experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Sales Engineer, with in-depth knowledge of the pre-sales process and hands-on experience of designing cloud or SaaS technology solutions.
You will have a deep technical understanding of broadcast workflows, content delivery, playout and OTT streaming platforms.
Ideally, applicants will also have a software engineering background. Any additional experience in a technical account management or customer service management role would be highly advantageous.
Applicants must have fluent (native or business level) language skills in either French or German.
