We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join an award-winning, video streaming company where you will become part of their growing Client Services team and be responsible for the delivery of software implementation projects across the broadcast media industry, making sure clients have the best possible experience throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work with the Sales Team and Head of Architecture to fully understand the technical and business requirements including agreeing key milestones and deliverables. You will facilitate project kick-off sessions, ensuring there is a common understanding of all aspects of the project and create a breakdown of high-level deliverables into individual tasks to allow each developer to fully understand what is expected and continue to drive tasks to ensure the project is a success.
As Technical Project Manager, you will also be a key point of contact for the client and therefore you will be responsible for creating, building and nurturing client relationships through full project visibility and managing expectations through regular communications via email, calls and face to face where appropriate.
To be successful in this role, candidate should have experience in delivering multiple projects simultaneously within a software development organisation, with knowledge of SaaS being highly beneficial. You should have familiarity with Atlassian Jira, including Jira Service Management and resource planning tools. In addition, you will hold strong knowledge in Agile methodologies and be proficient in general business tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
Although not essential, an understanding and knowledge of streaming technologies such as CDN's, video encoding and cloud-based platforms within the TV and broadcast industry would be advantageous.
