Job Description

We are currently recruiting on an exclusive basis for a major sports data rights owner – an exciting start-up venture belonging to an international sports federation based in London. As part of an ambitious growth strategy, we have a unique job vacancy available for their first Product Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. 

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, leading and delivering the strategy for cutting-edge sports betting and media products, with the aim of exploiting match data rights to enrich fan experiences, attract new consumers and make sports more accessible to modern-day audiences.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the senior leadership team, you will establish the new product strategy, set product roadmaps, clearly define objectives aligned with the overall corporate strategy and drive delivery against measurable KPIs and goals. 

You will oversee the end-to-end user experience (UX) design process and deploy a variety of best practice tools and methods throughout the product lifecycle, setting processes and standards. 

You will work with customers to maintain an in-depth understanding of changing needs and priorities, collaborate with both internal and external experts to gain market intelligence and insights and deliver business cases for new product, feature and enhancement recommendations for the company’s product portfolio. You will also recommend suitable partners and suppliers to assist in the delivery of the product strategy.

To be considered for this role, candidates will have a proven background in digital product management and leading B2B or B2C product strategies specifically within the sports betting industry, ideally having previously worked for a bookmaker, supplier or intermediary. 

You will have a deep knowledge of sports betting from a bookmakers perspective and a strong track record of successfully delivering ground-breaking products and services deployed by bookmakers to engage with their customers. 

You will have a genuine passion for digital technology, market trends, sports (ideally Tennis), the betting market and creating value through innovation. 

Applicants will be self-motivated, driven and proactive, be confident working with multiple stakeholders and suppliers and possess excellent attention to detail. You will have exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation and project management skills, along with a methodical approach.
