A major broadcaster based in London has an opportunity for a Production Support Engineer to to work with their state of the art broadcast systems.
The role will be providing technical and operational engineering support across their broadcast production workflows and MAM systems, either resolving faults or escalating these to the relevant 3rd line support teams. To be successful, applicants must be able to demonstrate previous commercial experience of providing engineering support in a live broadcast environment. This role will provide support to our clients' main Media Asset Management system and its integrated platforms including TX packaging, VOD transcoding, ingest and content handling.
Basic Linux and networking knowledge is essential with knowledge of tapeless workflows, file delivery systems and transcoding technologies. Knowledge of EVS, Avid ISIS, Omneon and Quantel video servers would be beneficial as would experience with Aspera and Signiant workflows, Rhozet transcoders and OTT delivery platforms.
To be considered you will have some commercial experience supporting broadcast technologies, however, recent graduates who can demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge may also be considered.
This is a 24/7 shift-based role including nights (7 nights every 12 weeks).
