An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a well established and leading supplier of equipment to the film and television industries based in New York.
The company supplies a wide range of video, audio and lighting equipment as well as crew and resources covering productions from a single camera unit to mutli-camera setups. As Business Development Manager you will play a key part in the company's continued success and will combine maintaining and developing key client relationships whilst also identifying and procuring new clients across the television, film, corporate and creative media industries. Additional you will help to manage clients during the sales process and on through to successful completion of their project, ensuring any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
You will need to have a proven sales background with a good understanding of the film and television industries and at least some understanding of camera/pro-video equipment. You will need to have a good network of existing relationships within the industry with any relationships within cinematography and streaming companies being of great interest. Applicants should have an enthusiastic attitude with a real drive to be successful, have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The role will be based from the company's office in New York and will require some travel to meet with clients.
