We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IS Support Engineer to join the broadcast arm of a major sports governing body based in London. As IS Support Engineer you will provide IT support along with a 3rd party service provider providing a high quality and timely professional service to internal clients and helping the IS team to deliver its departmental objectives.
Key responsibilities of the role will include 1st to 3rd line technical support ensuring all issues are dealt with effectively. You will also manage and monitor backups, security and compliance and manage information security and access controls. Additionally you will be involved in project work when required and support ad-hoc training.
Applicants should have proven IT support skills with a good level of knowledge of Office 365 and Azure AD and a working knowledge of cloud environments (Azure/AWS). Ideally you will have some exposure to a blended Windows and Mac environment although a pure Windows background would also be considered with any additional knowledge of MDM solutions (intune or Jamf) also being beneficial.
Additionally the ability to work to tight deadlines and calmly under pressure is also important as is a service orientated mindset and being team orientated.
