Job Description

A globally operating AV company based in the South East is looking for a Projects Engineer to join their Projects team to help oversee and complete major projects in the UK and internationally. As well as supporting clients in broadcast TV and film studios, they also work across theatres, convention centres, arenas and universities.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Managers across a variety of projects from concept to completion where you will do by attending pre-tender site surveys/ meetings and drawing up lighting and AV designs as well as handling customer enquiries. 

In order to be considered for the position, you must have experience working within a technical role focusing on lighting and AV equipment, ideally from within the theatre industry, other industries such as broadcast, TV or film is also of real interest. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD would be ideal but isn't essential as training will be provided.

Due to the role involving customer and client engagement, you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an analytical mindset.

Please note, our client is offering hybrid working with the opportunity to split your time between home working and being on-site / in the office.

Due to the nature of the role there will be some expectation of being able to travel both locally and internationally. Therefore a full, clean driver's license would be required.
