A leading provider of specialist broadcast camera equipment has a fantastic opportunity for a Broadcast Technicians to join their successful team. Working alongside some of the most highly respected and talented Senior Engineers, you will work on location where you will be responsible for rigging, de-rigging, troubleshooting and operating specialist camera equipment for an array of productions from sport and news to entertainment and reality.
Your role will also consist of providing technical support both on-site for clients and for the internal operations team, preparing, loading and transporting kit to client sites and undertaking equipment maintenance and PAT testing upon return to the warehouse.
As part of this industry-renowned team, you will work with cutting-edge, unique technology covering speciality remote camera and tracking systems, minicam setups and exciting underwater kit.
To be successful in this fantastic opportunity, we are looking for Engineers with an understanding of signal flows and broadcast technologies. The role would be highly suited to someone with an engineering degree (ideally in broadcast or media), understands basic broadcast engineering, holds experience working in a kit hire company or on location and is an excellent problem solver.
Please note, this team operate on a project-based shift rota therefore you will be required to work flexible hours according to events. This will include late nights and weekends.
Please be aware that you may also be required to handle/lift heavy equipment and work at heights and a driving licence is essential.
