Sales Director – California

(fully remote)

Christy Media Solutions are working on a fantastic opportunity to join our esteemed client (prior winner for Product of the Year at NAB) during a really exciting time for the company in its current growth strategy plans. We are seeking a senior sales person to drive growth in the Media and Entertainment sector across the Western United States. This position reporting to the VP of Sales Americas and collaborating closely with Sales Engineering and Marketing teams.

As a company, they are looking to make a big push forward within the Media and Entertainment industry with its array of Software-defined solutions backed by a large global R&D team.

Experience within Object Storage, File-Based Workflows or MAM highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts in the Western US to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop tailored strategies for revenue growth and new business acquisition.
  • Coordinate team members to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Implement programs to nurture new accounts and expand market presence.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Identify target accounts and devise strategies to increase market share.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events to promote our brand.
  • Support partners with sales skills and territory planning.
  • Manage expenses responsibly.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the media and entertainment industry.
  • Proven sales success with proactive goal-setting.
  • Strategic thinker with self-motivation and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in selling complex solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud and SaaS models.
  • Ability to engage with C-level executives.
  • Minimum two years in solutions sales within software or high-tech sectors.
