Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Role Overview:

The CFO will collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to drive financial excellence and sustainable growth. This includes overseeing M&A activities, cash management, financial planning, and international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy to support growth and profitability.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with transparency.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financial controls.
• Support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
• Ensure financial governance and compliance across subsidiaries.
• Build relationships with investors and external stakeholders.
• Implement cost control measures and identify investment opportunities.
• Drive digital transformation in financial processes.
• Manage tax compliance and reporting across jurisdictions.
• Lead and mentor the finance team.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of financial leadership experience.
• Expertise in M&A, financial planning, and cash management.
• Knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and international standards (IFRS).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, including managing international teams.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems.
• Fluent in English and German.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in tech, software, media, or automotive industries.
• Background in scaling companies and managing international subsidiaries.
• Familiarity with Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia financial regulations.
• Expertise in digital transformation in finance.
• Experience with private equity or venture capital.
