Job Description

We’re looking for a Freelance Broadcast Engineer to support and maintain cutting-edge broadcast and immersive audio systems in a fast-paced, high-profile digital environment. You’ll play a key role in keeping complex media workflows running smoothly and delivering seamless digital experiences to the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for broadcast systems.

• Monitor, maintain, and upgrade broadcast and audio infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to minimise downtime.

• Collaborate with creative and operational teams to integrate content.

• Document processes and support system improvements.

• Offer on-call support as needed (flexible scheduling).

What You’ll Need

• Experience in broadcast/media/immersive tech support.

• Strong Windows and macOS administration skills.

• Good understanding of media workflows, real-time systems, and fault diagnosis.

• Proactive, reliable, and a strong communicator.

 Bonus Skills

• Experience with Evertz, PowerScale (Isilon), Dante audio, Unreal Engine, or Unity.

• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python).

• Experience with L-Acoustics, specifically L-isa would be highly desirable along with Q-Sys 

Inside IR35, based on-site in London.
