A leading broadcast & film production manufacturing organisation is looking to hire an Electronic Design Engineer to join their established team.
What You'll Be Doing:
As Electronic Design Engineer you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and testing complex electronic system, from circuit-level design to PCB layout and compliance testing. Working alongside a multi-disciplinary engineering team, you’ll help bring next-generation products from concept through production, supporting the full product lifecycle. Your work will directly contribute to new product introduction and the continuous improvement of existing systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Creating and capturing electronic circuit designs and schematics

Designing PCB layouts and preparing manufacturing-ready files

Programming components to meet performance requirements

Testing and troubleshooting down to component level

Supporting EMC and safety compliance testing to international standards

Collaborating with third-party manufacturers and engineering partners

Documenting your designs and maintaining a robust parts library

Contributing to product specifications and development plans
What You Bring
Essential Skills:

Strong background in analog and digital circuit design

Experience with microprocessors and programmable logic

Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., PADs, Mentor Graphics)

Excellent analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting abilities

Comfortable working under deadlines and collaborating with global teams

Work Environment & Flexibility
While primarily based in the UK, this role is part of a global engineering team, so flexibility is built into the role to support collaboration across time zones.
