Senior Specialist Legal Editor - Competition Law
We are working with a leading global legal information provider that is looking to engage a Competition Lawyer on a contract basis to support their specialist legal editorial team.
This role sits within a well-established team responsible for maintaining and updating authoritative legal content used by lawyers across the UK and Europe.
The position is offered on a fully remote basis, with a flexible working pattern of 3–4 days per week.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the maintenance and development of competition law materials covering UK and EU antitrust and competition law.
Key responsibilities include:

Producing daily current awareness updates on competition law developments

Writing and maintaining practice notes

Updating checklists, flowcharts and legal process diagrams

Monitoring court judgments and regulatory developments

Maintaining and updating existing content to ensure it reflects current legal developments and market practice

Conducting annual reviews of assigned legal materials

Supporting updates to ensure content aligns with evolving AI regulatory standards
The work covers both contentious and non-contentious competition law, including areas such as antitrust, merger control, restrictive agreements and competition compliance.
About the Team
You will join a small and collaborative specialist team, working closely with experienced legal editors responsible for maintaining a large portfolio of competition law resources.
Candidate Requirements

Qualified lawyer in UK or EU law

4–5+ years PQE

Strong experience in competition / antitrust law

Exposure to competition litigation or regulatory decisions

Excellent legal research and writing skills
Experience across both contentious and non-contentious competition matters is beneficial.
French language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
