Job Description

Support Technician (Field Support Engineer)

Location: Atlanta | US Travel Required

We are working with an innovative technology organisation seeking a Support Technician to join their growing technical team.

This is a highly customer-facing position where you will play a key role in delivering on-site and remote technical support, ensuring systems are running efficiently and clients receive a high level of service.

The Role

  • Provide remote and on-site support for hardware and software systems

  • Install, configure, and maintain technical solutions in customer environments

  • Troubleshoot complex issues across networking and AV systems

  • Deliver training and guidance to end users and partners

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated technical issues

  • Travel to customer sites across the US as required (approx. 40%)

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in networking and technical support

  • Experience within the audio-visual industry

  • Exposure to relevant hardware/software systems (e.g. video/streaming or similar technologies)

  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills

  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and learn

  • Willingness to travel and attend customer sites

Desirable

  • IT networking certifications or CTS accreditation

Package

  • Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 (flexibility for exceptional candidates)

  • Additional payments for after-hours support rotation

  • Travel expenses covered via per diem
