What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of a diverse technology stack, including virtualization, storage systems, and multi-OS environments (Linux, Windows, Mac).
  • Build and maintain scalable virtualization environments for on-premises and remote use.
  • Maintain and deploy OS and security patching, as well as configuration management infrastructure.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and operational excellence.
  • Maintain and optimize network and fiber-based infrastructure, leveraging advanced troubleshooting tools.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams and vendors to align infrastructure capabilities with strategic goals, providing tailored solutions to support unique challenges.
  • Ensure uninterrupted operations through proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to issues.

 

What You’ll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, corporate IT systems, and hardware.
  • Proven expertise in managing infrastructure security for sensitive environments.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Python, Bash, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with fiber-based infrastructure (e.g., MTP/MPO) and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity within GCP & deploying cloud services.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and proficiency with packet inspection tools.
