Job Description

Our client, a busy broadcast facility based in Buckinghamshire is looking for a Broadcast Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role offers the opportunity to utilise skills in traditional broadcast support as well as broadcast IT, including systems such as Caspar graphics, servers, and Cisco networking. The position involves working with IP streaming systems for contribution (Ateme, Titan) and distribution (AWS, Phenix, Techex), and undertaking system modifications and small projects.

The company works across a range of broadcast & media including hosting live streams across sporting content, and supports multiple galleries, automated production, TV studios, and an MCR with extensive IP connectivity. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the live transmission chain within broadcast, experience with IT and networking infrastructure, and a knowledge of vision, sound, routing, communication, and computer systems in a television studio or broadcast environment.

The coming year will include exciting changes, such as migrating baseband video production to IP-based systems (GV AMPP, NDI, SMPTE 2110). The support team works a 24/7 rota in a six-week pattern, which includes a week off, with additional night payments.

This position is based fully on site with a mixture of shifts, including night shifts.

If you feel this could be the opportunity for you, and you're fully eligible to work in the UK without restrictions please apply now for immediate consideration.
