Technical Operations Lead – Hardware & Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee day-to-day hardware manufacturing, testing, licensing, and order fulfilment

• Act as the primary point of contact for all hardware-related operational queries

• Coordinate across engineering, sales, supply chain, manufacturing partners, and customer support

• Manage and improve operational processes to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery

• Lead weekly order fulfilment and manufacturing progress reviews

• Support readiness for new product introductions

• Liaise with contract manufacturers on quality, supply chain, and production issues

• Oversee customer support operations and service-level performance

• Line manage, support, and develop technical support and testing team members

• Track, report, and reduce operational issues through clear metrics and continuous improvement

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in electronics manufacturing, test engineering, or technical operations

• Strong leadership and people management experience

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

• Confident communicator, able to work across teams and with external partners

• Hands-on, adaptable approach suited to a small, fast-moving organisation

• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to quality and detail

• Comfortable working across multiple locations, including regular travel to manufacturing partners
