Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Technical Service Manager to join a leader in the audio visual services industry who specialise in delivering immersive experiences to a range of organisations including museums, heritage sites and immersive experiences.

 

The successful candidate will oversee the company’s service delivery, taking ownership of processes and managing a small team plus additional internal resources and freelancers when required. The Technical Service Manager will manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Time and Materials (T&M) agreements, while serving as the primary point of contact for client issues, such as fault triaging and incident prioritisation.

 

You will ensure optimal resource allocation and meeting performance standards whilst involves collaborating with the business development team to manage accounts, identify new opportunities, and oversee post-project processes, such as the contractual defects period.

 

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of service management processes. You could come from a similar service and solutions provider or alternatively a background leading internal AV teams in a Museum, Heritage, leisure, exhibition or immersive experience organisation.

 

Hands on technical knowledge is important and should include expertise in some or all of the following technologies: media servers (such as Watchout and Pixera), QSC ecosystem, Crestron Control, and NVX systems.

 

Leadership experience, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to perform under pressure are also important. Qualifications such as ECS, CSCS, SSSTS, and Avixa CTS certifications are also desirable.
