We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer & Team Lead to lead the evolution of our bintu backend — the brain behind our stream management system. You'll drive backend innovation, lead a team of developers, and help us scale the technology that powers interactive live experiences across the globe.

   The Role

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of backend developers. Foster a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous learning.

  • Backend Development: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable backend services for our cloud streaming platform.

  • API & System Design: Enhance and expand REST APIs that enable robust stream management and integrations with CDN and cloud infrastructure.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, support, and sales teams to align backend development with business goals.

  • Cloud & DevOps Alignment: Partner with DevOps engineers to ensure stable, automated deployments and high availability.

  • Security & Reliability: Enforce strong security and compliance standards across all systems.

  • Innovation: Drive continuous improvement in performance, architecture, and development workflows.

Essential Expereince

  • 5+ years of experience in backend/fullstack development with a focus on scalable web applications.

  • Proven leadership in agile environments — mentoring, code reviews, and team coordination.

  • Deep knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js essential; Go or Python a plus).

  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and infrastructure integrations.

  • Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

  • Excellent communication in English (German is a bonus).

 Bonus Points For

  • Experience with live video, audio streaming, or real-time applications.

  • Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
