Job Description
You'll play a key role as a high level Technical Support Engineer for the US East Coast, demonstrating extensive experience and understanding around broadcast systems and media compression technologies. Responsibilities include remote/on-site commissioning and technical support for North American customers in contribution, distribution, and media processing.
What you'll do:
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in the US and Canada.
- Replicate and test issues to identify solutions.
- Collaborate with advanced support and development teams for escalations.
- Use lab equipment to improve customer support.
- Coordinate repairs or module exchanges.
- Document service calls in the CRM system.
- Perform remote/on-site commissioning and deliver customer training.
You will have:
- 5+ years of technical support/engineering experience for broadcast systems.
- Expertise in compression for contribution, OTT, and distribution.
- Experience with ST2110 standards a must.
- Familiarity with SSH, Switch, and OS IP configuration.
- Experience with SDN/Orchestration systems and API.
- 2+ years of IP Network engineering experience.
- AWS/GCP/Azure application and interface experience or certification preferred.
- Spanish and English speaking is a plus.
