We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager to join a leading camera systems manufacturer based in West London.
As Technical Sales Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales of highly specialized, low-volume, high-value broadcast systems designed and manufactured in the UK. As part of a small sales team you will engage with all aspects of the sales process utilsing your technical knowledge to effectively communicate with potential customers technical staff demonstrate products and designing and presenting proposals.
Due to the nature of the business sales cycles can often be long, so a key focus for the role will be building and nurturing long-term relationships with potential clients, including broadcasters, studio facilities, and systems integrators.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of sales success within the broadcast industry and have previously sold into national and international companies of all sizes. You must have a passion for and an active interest in technology and be able to understand and effectively sell technical products and solutions. You must demonstrate confidence in written and verbal communications of detailed technical and commercial presentations and proposals to customers at all levels. It is therefore essential that you have a higher-level technical qualification or demonstrable passion and understanding of technology and advanced systems.
