The Global Events Manager is a pivotal role responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a range of global events, ensuring the company maintains a strong presence at industry-leading trade shows, product showcases, and customer engagement programs. This person will have full ownership of event logistics, including setting event strategies, managing budgets, coordinating technical setups, and liaising with key partners. The role requires hands-on involvement in event execution, ensuring seamless delivery of marketing materials, lead tracking, and engagement strategies. Attending international trade shows like CES, NAB, IBC, and ISE is a key part of the role, making frequent travel essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in event management within the film, broadcast, or technology sectors, ideally with a basic technical understanding of cameras. They should be highly organized, able to manage multiple events per month, and comfortable collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams. The role also includes stakeholder engagement, PR coordination. A strong communicator, they must confidently present event outcomes in monthly meetings and demonstrate flexibility with work arrangements across multiple locations. Detailed Breakdown of Responsibilities

Event Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and implement the global event strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Manage the delivery of a global events calendar, prioritizing key industry events.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams.
  • Work with marketing managers to create budgets, timelines, and project plans for events.

Event Execution & Logistics

  • Oversee all logistics, including booth setup, equipment coordination, and partner engagement.
  • Ensure marketing materials, lead scanners, and promotional assets are prepared for each event.
  • Manage event setup, working hands-on with technology where required (e.g., cameras).
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation for event staff, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with event organizers, vendors, and channel partners.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align events with business goals.

Marketing, PR & Communications

  • Work with internal teams to develop marketing collateral, event promotions, and post-event campaigns.
  • Support PR initiatives, including journalist engagement and media coordination.
  • Prepare post-event reports, analyze event data, and present findings in monthly meetings.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 5+ years in event management within film, broadcast, or technology sectors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ideally familiar with broadcast equipment, cameras setups.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communicator, highly organized, and able to manage multiple events effectively.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable with frequent international travel and flexible work arrangements.
  • Performance Tracking: Ability to measure ROI from events and improve effectiveness.

Salary & Hiring Process

  • Salary: £40-50k with two performance-based bonuses.
