Solutions Consultant – Media Technology (Los Angeles)

A leading global provider of media infrastructure solutions is seeking a Solution Consultant to join its North American team. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing engagement, supporting innovative video distribution and processing solutions for the broadcast media industry.

As a Solution Consultant, you will be a key technical partner to customers and internal teams, helping to design, implement, and support high-performance video contribution and distribution systems. You will play a critical role in pre-sales strategy, technical demonstrations, solution architecture, and post-sale success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales technical consultation for contribution, distribution, and OTT applications.

  • Support system design, installation, proof of concept deployments, and workflow integration.

  • Collaborate with sales, product, and services teams to develop commercially viable solutions.

  • Present solutions and business cases to executive stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, contribute to white papers, and support trade shows and industry events.

  • Travel up to 50% within North America.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or systems engineering in broadcast or telecom environments.

  • Strong knowledge of video compression technologies, IP transport (ST 2110, 2022-6), and OTT workflows.

  • Proficiency in networking (Layer 2/3), SDN, orchestration, and broadcast control interfaces (NMOS, REST).

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
