What You’ll Be Doing

Installing and maintaining timing loops, beacons, and temperature sensors at event venues

Terminating and testing data cables (coaxial and multi-core) and supporting data acquisition systems

Commissioning and configuring electronic and IT hardware in fast-paced live environments

Diagnosing and resolving faults in network and electrical systems

Maintaining detailed technical documentation, reports, and fault logs

Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders for smooth setup and operations

Working across a wide range of global environments — from heat to cold, wet to dry

Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, transported, and ready for deployment
What You’ll Need

Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic systems and fault-finding

Comfortable reading and working from wiring diagrams and technical documentation

Basic understanding of TCP/IP networks and cable systems

Excellent communication and time-management skills

Ability to perform reliably in high-pressure, live broadcast environments

Physically fit, with a willingness to work outdoors and travel internationally (1–3 weeks at a time)

A full UK driving licence

Familiarity with CAN bus and RF systems

Prior experience in technical event support or motorsport environments

HND or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields
