Our client, a world-leading augmented reality company providing virtual advertising, is looking for an experience VR Technician to join their team on a permanent basis, in Manchester. The role is primarily a technical role that requires working on site at various stadium locations around the UK and abroad.

You'll be joining a small and dynamic team at a exciting time of expansion and growth for the company. 

Key responsibilities include:

- Attending live outside broadcasts as the primary VR Tech at various locations around the UK and abroad.

- Set up and operate VR systems and broadcast camera equipment at live outside broadcasts 

- General maintenance of VR systems

- Liaising with broadcast stakeholders in the lead up to onsite delivery.

Key attributes include:

- Excellent technical aptitude 

- proven problem solving and trouble shooting skills 

- Strong understanding of broadcast camera systems (within a live sporting environment would be highly beneficial)

- Ability to keep a level head with the pressures of live television broadcast, working closely with other stakeholders.

This role with require a level of flexibility around working patterns and will involve weekend work due to the nature of sporting events, and live projects.
