Job Description
This team delivers next-generation systems for major stadiums, collegiate venues, high-end casinos, and immersive live production environments - setting new standards in sports entertainment technology.
As a Broadcast Field Engineer, you’ll work at the forefront of the industry, commissioning and fine-tuning advanced systems that power live broadcasts and unforgettable game-day experiences. Expect to travel to some of the most exciting venues across the country, working hands-on with cutting-edge technology to ensure every system performs flawlessly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Commission, configure, and test broadcast systems on-site and in-house.
- Program routers, switchers, mixers, servers, and related control gear.
- Conduct signal testing (video, audio, IP) and troubleshoot issues.
- Review CAD drawings, redline updates, and compile commissioning reports.
- Work with project managers and installers to define task lists and finalize punch lists.
- Provide client training and serve as final quality control on installations.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and third-party vendors as needed.
- Travel up to 70%
Skills & Experience
- Strong foundation in broadcast video, audio, and control systems
- Proficient in reading CAD/blueprints; experienced with signal flow troubleshooting.
- Skilled in cabling, soldering, labeling, and system integration.
- Familiarity with IP media standards and technologies: ST2110, PTP, Dante, AES67, IPTV, etc.
- Experience with Evertz, Ross, Grass Valley, EVS, Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Imagine, AJA, broadcast equipment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client-facing skills.
