Job Description

Channel Manager – Broadcast Audio

Remote / Hybrid (UK-based)
International travel ~50%

I’m partnering with a highly respected broadcast audio manufacturer known for its premium products and strong reputation across film, TV, live broadcast and production. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, close-knit, technically driven team in a highly visible, customer-facing role.

The business is looking to hire a Channel Manager to own and develop its reseller and distributor network across EMEA and APAC, driving growth while maintaining the brand’s strong technical credibility and customer-first culture.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of technology, relationships and commercial strategy. It will suit either:

  • A commercial/channel professional with a strong technical background in audio or RF, or
  • A pre-sales / technical engineer from broadcast audio or RF who wants to move into a more commercial, partner-facing role

Cultural fit is critical. This is a small, collaborative team where trust, accountability and genuine passion for broadcast technology really matter.

Key Responsibilities

Channel & Partner Management

  • Own and develop relationships with resellers and distributors across EMEA & APAC
  • Enable partners to successfully position, sell and support the product portfolio
  • Act as the primary point of contact for channel partners, building long-term trust
  • Support partners with training, technical understanding and commercial alignment

Commercial Growth

  • Drive revenue growth through the indirect channel
  • Identify new channel opportunities and emerging markets
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align channel strategy with regional goals
  • Support forecasting, pipeline visibility and partner business planning

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Be highly visible in the market through regular partner and end-user visits
  • Attend trade shows, customer demos and industry events globally
  • Act as a technical-commercial ambassador for the brand
  • Feed market insight, customer feedback and competitive intelligence back into the business

Travel

  • Extensive international travel (circa 50%) across EMEA and APAC

Background & Experience

  • Experience in broadcast audio, RF, wireless audio, or related broadcast technology
  • Strong understanding of how professional broadcast products are sold and supported
  • Experience working with resellers and/or distributors
  • Either:
    • Commercial/channel experience with technical depth, or
    • Pre-sales / applications / technical support experience with a desire to move commercial
  • Comfortable presenting to partners and customers at both technical and commercial levels

Personal Attributes & Cultural Fit

  • Collaborative, down-to-earth and team-oriented
  • Passionate about broadcast technology and customer experience
  • Comfortable working in a small business where everyone contributes
  • Confident, personable and credible in front of partners and end users
  • Enjoys travel and being face-to-face with customers

Why Consider This Role?

  • Join a globally respected broadcast audio brand
  • Work closely with partners, customers and internal teams rather than sitting behind a desk
  • Broad international remit with real autonomy
  • Opportunity to shape channel relationships and have a visible impact
  • Be part of a tight-knit team where culture genuinely matters

If this sounds like a good fit, I’d be happy to have a confidential conversation and share more detail about the company, products and team.
