Job Description

Supply Chain & Production Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA (on-site, Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Production Manager to lead and grow a combined team responsible for both supply chain operations and production. This role is hands-on, highly visible, and ideal for someone who thrives in a hardware manufacturing environment with high-volume, complex parts management.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of 7 (3 in supply chain, 4 in production) with headcount expected to increase. You’ll drive day-to-day performance while also building the systems, processes, and culture needed to support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management

  • Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations: procurement, vendor management, logistics, shipping/receiving.

  • Manage inventory of 1,500–2,000+ unique hardware components.

  • Develop and maintain inventory control processes, including cycle-counts and audits.

  • Lead supply chain planning, forecasting, and vendor negotiations.

  • Deliver improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Production Management

  • Oversee production technicians and build operations.

  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards.

  • Maintain and update build guides and documentation.

  • Troubleshoot and support hands-on production issues.

  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety across production areas.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team culture.

  • Establish new processes and documentation (QMS, ISO9001 compliance, version management).

  • Drive change initiatives, including a major ERP migration project.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

  • Provide strategic oversight on how supply chain and production performance impacts revenue.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in a management role covering both supply chain and production (or very strong in one with exposure to the other).

  • Proven experience in hardware manufacturing environments.

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, logistics, and production scheduling.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage experience is a plus); experience leading ERP migrations desirable.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, multi-tab analysis). SQL or VBA skills are a plus.

  • Knowledge of QMS/ISO9001 processes and auditing.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills; proven ability to build culture, morale, and engagement.

  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to support the team directly when needed.

  • Supply chain certifications (e.g., CSCP) preferred.

What’s in it for You

  • Leadership of a growing team with direct impact on company performance.

  • Opportunity to drive change and transformation projects, including ERP migration.

  • A hands-on role in a fast-moving, hardware-focused environment.

  • Competitive base salary and opportunity to shape your own path as the organization scales.
