Supply Chain & Production Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA (on-site, Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Production Manager to lead and grow a combined team responsible for both supply chain operations and production. This role is hands-on, highly visible, and ideal for someone who thrives in a hardware manufacturing environment with high-volume, complex parts management.
The successful candidate will oversee a team of 7 (3 in supply chain, 4 in production) with headcount expected to increase. You’ll drive day-to-day performance while also building the systems, processes, and culture needed to support future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management

Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations: procurement, vendor management, logistics, shipping/receiving.

Manage inventory of 1,500–2,000+ unique hardware components.

Develop and maintain inventory control processes, including cycle-counts and audits.

Lead supply chain planning, forecasting, and vendor negotiations.

Deliver improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Production Management

Oversee production technicians and build operations.

Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Maintain and update build guides and documentation.

Troubleshoot and support hands-on production issues.

Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety across production areas.
Leadership & Strategy

Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team culture.

Establish new processes and documentation (QMS, ISO9001 compliance, version management).

Drive change initiatives, including a major ERP migration project.

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

Provide strategic oversight on how supply chain and production performance impacts revenue.
Requirements

4+ years’ experience in a management role covering both supply chain and production (or very strong in one with exposure to the other).

Proven experience in hardware manufacturing environments.

Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, logistics, and production scheduling.

Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage experience is a plus); experience leading ERP migrations desirable.

Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, multi-tab analysis). SQL or VBA skills are a plus.

Knowledge of QMS/ISO9001 processes and auditing.

Strong leadership and communication skills; proven ability to build culture, morale, and engagement.

Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to support the team directly when needed.

Supply chain certifications (e.g., CSCP) preferred.
