Job Description
We’re working exclusively with a leading professional audio brand to recruit a Marketing & Events Coordinator for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your marketing and events career with a globally recognised manufacturer whose technology is used by audio professionals worldwide.
The Role
Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key part in planning and delivering a busy calendar of exhibitions, roadshows, training sessions and internal events. You’ll coordinate logistics end to end – from stand builds and equipment shipping through to onsite support – while also providing day-to-day marketing and administrative support to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
-
Plan and coordinate the company’s presence at exhibitions, shows and other events, working with internal stakeholders and external partners.
-
Manage logistics such as stand build, contractors, graphics, freight, equipment and onsite set-up.
-
Coordinate in-house and external training events from initial brief through to post-event follow-up, providing onsite support and hospitality where needed.
-
Handle requests for marketing materials from sales teams and international distributors, ensuring timely fulfillment.
-
Assist with email bulletins, newsletters and other outbound communications, and help maintain customer and distributor databases.
-
Support the management of promotional merchandise, including stock checks, ordering and distribution.
-
Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Manager and team, including travel bookings, meeting coordination and maintaining organised records and shared drives.
About You
-
Experience in a busy administrative, PA, office coordinator or marketing support role.
-
Some experience assisting with events, exhibitions, conferences or training sessions, ideally in a B2B environment.
-
Comfortable using basic marketing tools such as email platforms, CRM or simple CMS – or keen to learn quickly.
-
Highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
-
Confident communicator who enjoys working with colleagues, suppliers, customers and distributors.
-
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; any design/creative tools are a bonus but not essential.
Please note this role will require you to work in the office, ideally 5 days per week.
