Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of an international streaming company operating across web, apps, and TV platforms, with a strong presence in the UK and DACH markets. The company’s mission is to make high-quality entertainment content accessible and engaging for audiences across Europe.

To support continued growth, we are looking for a Social Media Manager with a strong background in streaming, media, or entertainment-driven social media.

In this role, you will take ownership of the development and growth of social media channels, with a clear focus on community engagement, reach, and performance. You will work closely with marketing, content, and design teams and play an important role in shaping how entertainment content is positioned across social platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who combines creative storytelling with a data-driven mindset and understands how entertainment brands build loyal online communities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Structured setup and continuous development of social media channels

  • Strong focus on short-form video formats and platform-specific mechanics

  • Review, evaluate, and curate existing entertainment content for growth and engagement

  • Identify trends, hooks, storytelling approaches, and community-relevant topics

  • Actively build, manage, and engage online communities

  • Define, measure, and analyse social media KPIs

  • Translate performance insights into concrete optimisation actions

  • Work in a structured, self-driven manner with a clear marketing mindset

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and design teams

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in social media management, ideally within:

    • Streaming platforms

    • Media or broadcast companies

    • Entertainment or video-focused brands

  • Strong understanding of entertainment and video-driven social media content

  • Confident use of digital marketing and analytics tools

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on measurable impact

  • Technical understanding of digital products, platforms, and workflows

  • Strong communication skills and collaborative team spirit

  • Fluent in German and English (required)
