Sales Engineer - USA
Christy Media Solutions are working with a fantastic company who deliver comprehensive video streaming solutions encompassing encoding, recording, management, publishing, and secure distribution of video content from start to finish.
You will drive revenue through overseeing the pre-sales process, providing post-sales technical implementation support, and primarily serving as an advocate and expert on the Company's range of advanced network video streaming and media delivery and management platforms for the broadcast, defense, and enterprise sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Company's technical liaison, demonstrating products to decision-makers and technical staff.
- Support sales managers in account management and presales projects.
- Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses. • Provide pre-sales technical support to partners and customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and maintain relationships with resellers and integrators.
- Assist with technical setups at events and provide post-sale support.
- Comfortable with domestic and occasional international travel.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in designing and deploying streaming media services.
- Knowledgeable about network and computing security standards.
- Experienced in audio-visual systems design.
- Understanding of video compression technologies and real-time media transport protocols, including MPEG-2, MPEG-4/H.264, HEVC, RTP, MPEG2-TS, RTMP, HLS, and MPEG-DASH.
