Job Description
A leading specialist in equipment rental and technical services for feature films, high-end TV, commercials, and live productions is expanding its broadcast and live production capabilities. With a reputation for technical innovation, fast-paced problem-solving, and outstanding client support, the company is seeking a Broadcast Technical Supervisor to join its growing technical team, based at their company HQ in Buckinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing and testing RF and IP-based transmission systems.

Build and interpret complex signal flows (SDI/IP).

Deliver technical support remotely and on-site.
-
Maintain QC across video, audio, and colour workflows.

Support internal systems and documentation.
-
Stay current with standards such as ST 2110, AES67, NMOS, Dolby Vision.

Contribute to R&D and workflow development for hybrid/remote productions.

Engage with audio workflows including RF coordination and comms integration.
Ideal Candidate:
-
Background in live broadcast, RF engineering, or studio/field technical roles.

Experience with wireless video systems (RF links, COFDM, frequency planning).

Strong understanding of IP media standards (ST 2110, AES67, VLANs, Dante).

Knowledge of log workflows, HDR, SDR, LUTs, and Dolby Vision.

Comfortable working across baseband and IP signal chains.

Clear communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Flexibility to travel and support live events as needed.
Desirable:
Familiarity with Bolero comms, vision shading, waveform monitoring, and sound guarantee workflows.
