Job Description

As Sales Engineer (broadcast), you'll work closely with customers and partners across Latin America to bring technical solutions to life. You’ll showcase technology through demos, design tailored solutions, and guide proof-of-concept projects that highlight real-world value. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, staying ahead of industry trends, building long-term relationships, and helping organizations adopt innovative video compression and networking technologies.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert, presenting and demonstrating solutions to both business leaders and technical teams.
  • Support the sales cycle with technical design, pre-sales consultation, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI/RFQ responses with technical input.
  • Provide onsite and remote support for customers and partners across Latin America.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with resellers, integrators, and strategic partners.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Assist with technical system setup and demonstrations at regional events and trade shows.
  • Travel across the region as needed (up to 50%).

 

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 3–5 years of technical experience in video, networking, or related technologies for broadcasting.
  • Knowledge of streaming, encoding/decoding, IP networking, or bonded cellular solutions.
  • Understanding of video compression and transport standards (e.g., H.264/HEVC, SRT, RTP, HLS, ST-2110, NDI).
  • Familiarity with content delivery networks, broadcast contribution methods, and network security best practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to engage with executives, customers, and technical staff.
  • Proven track record of customer relationship management and technical problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and ability to work independently.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required, Portuguese is a plus.
  • Comfort with Linux command line and scripting (Python/JavaScript) desirable.
