A rapidly expanding global technology business in the smart entertainment and digital content space is seeking an experienced Operations Director to join its international operations team. With products and services used by audiences worldwide, the company is focused on scaling its content ecosystem and driving innovative user experiences.

This role suits a senior operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels in cross-cultural collaboration, and can steer strategic planning with creativity and commercial focus. Working closely with senior leadership, you will shape long-term operational frameworks and help drive growth, performance, and monetization success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead content operations across a smart TV content platform, ensuring quality standards, structuring content frameworks, improving distribution, and driving performance metrics.

  • Build annual content roadmaps informed by regional trends and major events; plan online/offline campaigns, coordinate internal and external teams, and collaborate with marketing to enhance brand influence.

  • Partner with content business development teams to track content trends, plan special features and themed content, respond quickly to cultural moments, and work with partners to highlight premium content.

  • Develop data-driven operational strategies based on user insights and competitor analysis, increasing traffic, interaction, and user retention.

  • Collaborate with  teams to increase advertising inventory and actively develop new monetization opportunities, exploring innovative revenue models to support business expansion.

  • Continuously refine operational models using analytical methods and performance measurement.

  • Work closely with product teams to identify user needs, gather feedback, and support product upgrades and innovation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; experience in content or digital product operations, preferably within film, TV, or app environments.

  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills; international experience preferred. Multilingual abilities (especially Mandarin) or overseas study experience are an advantage.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.

  • Passionate about media, film, and entertainment content.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and execution skills; self-motivated and comfortable working under pressure.
