Service Workshop Engineer - Manual and Robotics
Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany | On-site
We are working with an international organisation operating within the image capture and content creation industry, who are looking to appoint an experienced Service Engineer to support their growing service operation across the EMEA/APAC region. This position will involve servicing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing manual and robotic equipment, both in-house and at customer sites. The role also includes technical support responsibilities, customer interaction and occasional international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair manual and robotic products
- Provide technical support to distributors, dealers and customers
- Carry out inspections and repairs of loan/demo equipment
- Travel to customer locations across EMEA/APAC when required
- Produce repair estimates and maintain service records within ERP systems
- Support service planning and coordination activities
- Assist with product evaluation and feedback for new developments
- Support production and integration activities when required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience
- Strong technical troubleshooting capability
- Advanced English communication skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proven problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage workload and priorities effectively
- Good computer skills
Desirable Experience
- SharePoint knowledge
- ERP systems experience, ideally IFS
- Mechanical engineering qualification
